Ella (Dayanara Torres), a European princess, believes that she is being deprived of her freedom to live life and explore the world on her own free will. She runs away and accidentally comes across Alex (Aga Muhlach), a stern and bitter jeepney driver. Fearing for her safety, he begrudgingly takes Ella in.
